Selling real estate takes energy, enthusiasm, organization, and dedication. Dianne Johnson of Village Properties has them all. In fact, back when she was beginning her Santa Barbara real estate career in 1987, her first brokerage firm, Merrill Lynch Realty, came up with a phrase they thought fit Dianne perfectly, "Energy, Enthusiasm, and Expertise."
She's been reiterating the appropriateness of those words ever since. Raised in Palos Verdes in a family with a mom who was a highly successful real estate agent, Dianne moved to Santa Barbara in 1979, where she attended UC Santa Barbara and graduated with a degree in Business Economics. She then went to work selling real estate, earning 'Rookie of the Year honors during her first year at Merrill Lynch Realty. She went on to earn her GRI designation from the Graduate Realtor® Institute and has since sold dozens of properties throughout Santa Barbara, Goleta, Montecito, Carpinteria, and Santa Ynez.
Dianne is purpose in action. She has worked tirelessly to support Hope School (she initiated the hugely popular girls' dance team, which regularly performs in local parades and during halftime at UCSB basketball games) and the Hope School District Educational Foundation benefiting Monte Vista, Hope, and Vieja Valley elementary schools. She has been proactive in chairing major fundraising events with both organizations. She enjoys giving back to the community she calls home. Dianne has been the president of the La Colina Oaks Owners' Association for seventeen years.
Positive and personable, Dianne loves putting her passion into finding the right home for her clients. Always seeking a win-win situation, she works tirelessly to complete transactions that benefit all parties and leave everyone feeling great. And in order to give her clients her very best, she limits the number of people she works with at any given time. In Santa Barbara, Dianne has found the natural beauty and the healthy, easygoing outdoor lifestyle she loves so much. And with a husband and two children, she understands fully how important her clients' families are to them, whether they are newlyweds just starting out, big families looking for more space to accommodate a growing brood, or retirees looking to scale down their housing needs.
Homes aren't just houses; they're where the heart is. Contact Dianne, and let her help you find your own perfect place in the Santa Barbara sun.
