About MarLa Gamberdella

MarLa prides herself on her ability to connect with her clients.  Being perceptive and present, MarLa is able to get a true understanding of her clients’ needs and in doing so establish long standing relationships with her clients. MarLa feels fortunate to have been able to call Santa Barbara home for nearly 25 years. Her extensive local knowledge comes from the experience of raising her family and deep community involvement in Santa Barbara. 

Originally from Alaska, MarLa married long-time Santa Barbara local, Paul Gamberdella, a Principal at Radius Commercial Real Estate, after meeting in college. Early on, MarLa pursued a career as a nurse specializing in critical care in both the ICU and Emergency Departments as well as clinical research at both Stanford and Cottage Hospital. From her nursing career, MarLa has developed a manner of direct communication, thorough attention to detail and empathy for her clients and colleagues, all key factors to establish a successful real estate transaction.  

When MarLa is not working, she is on the fields, at the beaches, in the gyms and stadiums of Santa Barbara or volunteering in local school and community programs. MarLa’s deep commitment to her community drives her desire to help others achieve their dream of home ownership and become part of the Santa Barbara community. As a parent, MarLa has always valued Village Properties’ strong community involvement in and support of our local schools; now she is honored to be a Realtor with Santa Barbara’s premiere locally owned brokerage.
