Marcos Lazaro is a first-generation Santa Barbara native by choice, he fell in love with the community and culture while attending the University of California in Santa Barbara (“UCSB”), where he earned a Bachelors's degree in Political Science. During his senior year at UCSB, the United States House of Representatives recruited Marcos to serve as a Congressional Liaison. In the five years, he served The United States Congress, the armed himself with solid bilingual communication and interpersonal skills, which he consistently utilizes in his real estate career. Currently, a Director in the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors®, Marcos is involved in determining the goals, setting the direction, and approving or denying all policy matters of the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors®.
The membership represents approximately 1,200 members from all real estate specialties including residential sales, commercial sales, development, property management, and appraisals. Marcos’ analytic, problem-solving, and communication skills have proven to be extensively useful in the world of real estate. He has successfully closed on a diverse scope of real estate transactions, which consist of short sales, foreclosed property, trustee sales, estate sales, bankruptcy sales, court order sales, and many other standards and complex real estate transactions.
