Summerland

Summerland is a tiny coastal town snuggled in between Montecito and Carpinteria. It’s definitely quaint, with a population of less than 2,000, just one school and one church. It is known for it’s antique shopping, charming markets, clothing shops and restaurants. And of course there are charming Bed and Breakfast accommodations dotted throughout this relaxed town. The Summerland beach is not often crowded. Horse-back riders and dog-walkers can frequently be spotted on this sleepy beach. It is certainly a perfect place to enjoy a nice nap and a good book without being bothered.
