Kristy Harms Cuevas has been a part of the greater Santa Barbara community for her entire life. Kristy’s grandfather brought his family to Goleta in 1954 after falling in love with the agricultural community and natural beauty of the area, and they never left. Kristy grew up in Goleta, attended Westmont College, and received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from California Lutheran University. She worked for several years with children and families through local nonprofits and the Santa Barbara Unified school district.
In 2004, Kristy began taking classes in real estate after renovating and selling her first few properties. For over a decade Kristy has owned and handled rental properties as well as completed several major renovations on her own investments. Solving problems and identifying the best fit and value in the Santa Barbara market are areas in which she has excelled. Having owned and lived in Santa Ynez, Goleta, Noleta, San Roque and Montecito over the years she has a wealth of knowledge to share. If you are new to the area Kristy would love to help connect you with our amazing community and to find the neighborhood that best suits your needs.
Kristy truly enjoys meeting and helping people. She is passionate about the details of presenting a home for sale in its best light and enjoys the challenge of finding just the right new property. When Kristy is not busy viewing, researching, or renovating property she is usually with her four growing boys, baking, or enjoying coffee or brunch with her husband, James. You might also find her at high tide walking somewhere between Hendry’s and the Harbor enjoying our incredible weather and beaches.
