He began his Real Estate career in 1972. As a Realtor®, he is continually in a position of listening, questioning, and counseling as the client's dreams and concerns are identified. Once their goals are defined, his understanding of economics and his attention to detail guide the goals into reality. In 2003, Jim was President of the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors® and has built a network of contacts over the years.
He is past president of the Computer Committee, the Toastmasters Club, the Statistical Review Committee, and active on the Communication Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee. His attitude of service extends throughout his business career. Jim is a founding partner in the CORT database, which keeps records on all sales in Santa Barbara County. Jim has a strong local involvement. He lives in Summerland with his wife and extended family and has been involved in the community since moving there in 1976. In his off time, he enjoys tennis, soccer, gardening, and family walk with the dogs.
